Frequently asked questions
🧲 How does the snake grow?
Guide the snake toward a segment. The magnetic connection adds it to the body, making the snake longer as you collect more pieces.
🏠 Will it work on carpet?
Smooth, flat indoor floors work best. Carpet adds resistance and can affect movement and steering.
🎮 Can one child play alone?
Yes. Try collecting every segment, following a route, or beating a previous time. Family members can also take turns with the same set.
🏁 What do we need for a two-player race?
Simultaneous racing requires two sets, with one snake and one remote for each player.
🔋 How is the toy powered?
The snake head is USB rechargeable. The remote uses separate batteries; check the product packaging for the required battery type and installation instructions.

This is a cute little toy, and my 4yr old grandson prefers it over my 3yr old granddaughter, but both really like it. She more wants to "feed" it instead of using the remote, and my grandson has a great time spreading them out and using the remote more. I do like that it is rechargeable - at least the head part. The remote needs batteries. I also like the little sound and lights while it is running. It's not obnoxious or loud, but definitely lets you know when the kid is done with it that they forgot to turn it off. I will also say the remote is a little hard to use. It's a little overreactive on the turns - like if you tell it to go right, to sometimes will go a little right, but sometimes just tapping it makes it do almost a half circle. That's why I'm only giving it three stars. That part is a little frustrating to the small kids, and I found them often just grabbing the head and positioning it right in front of the magnet pieces they wanted to pick up so the wouldn't have to keep trying to turn it with the remote. I still recommend this because it is definitely keeping them busy for decent amounts of time, so for that it gets my vote.
This RC magnetic snake game is such a fun idea! It combines the excitement of a remote-control toy with a simple learning game, so kids are actually moving around, thinking, and interacting instead of just sitting in front of a screen. It has been a fun addition to playtime and is especially great for kids who enjoy games that involve a little competition.
This snake car is pretty unique. It can grow its tail by eating the pieces as it drives over them. Each piece has magnets on it so that it can connect to other pieces. The magnets have a good amount of strength. It is a bit challenging getting the pieces to go in the snake’s mouth because the remote control over reacts when you press the button so it’s not completely accurate. The remote control requires to AA batteries. These batteries are not included. The snakes head is rechargeable. A USB charger cable is included. That part is very convenient. It would be better if the remote control was rechargeable as well. The snake plays music when it’s turned on. The music is not too loud, which is good. The music can be turned off also for quiet play. Number stickers are included. The numbers go all the way up to seven, however, there are eight snake body pieces. I’m not sure how they would be used logically on the pieces, unless some numbers won’t be used at all.
The one major thing that surprised me when I opened up the package is that only one head is included. On the packaging as well as on the ad you see two heads competing with each other in a game. However, you only get one and you get one set of links for the snake body and a remote control. The snake head is charged by a USB-C while the controller takes two AA batteries. When you link up the bodies pieces, they connect via magnet and can come off while you're moving the head around. When you eat the body links, they link up effortlessly to create a longer chain. The head has a multicolor light inside the eyes of the snake that you cannot turn off, and it has a musical sound that you can turn on or off from the remote. The key to turning the head well is by holding down the front direction and then using the left and right buttons instead of releasing forward motion and just trying to turn the head because it overturns and spins around all crazy. It's fun and even for an adult it's kind of a cool party game. It can also be used by kids and for babies I would recommend that you watch that they don't try to put the links in their mouth, but I would say the links are a little larger than comfortable for an infant or even a small toddler to do that. Therefore, I feel safe giving this toy to a baby, especially without the links so that only the head can be controlled. Maybe it will also help prevent a fear of snakes.
This is a really fun little game and definitely more entertaining than I expected. The remote-controlled snake moves around while you try to control it and eat the magnetic pieces, which makes it a lot more interactive than a typical handheld game. The lights and sounds add to the excitement, and having a two-player option makes it more fun when playing with someone else. It takes a little practice to get the hang of controlling the snake, but that's part of what makes it entertaining. Once you get the hang of it, it can get pretty competitive. This would be a fun gift for kids, especially those who like remote-control toys or games they can play with friends and family. It's something different from the usual toys and gives everyone a reason to get involved instead of just watching someone else play.
Sometimes a product exceeds expectations and this one does. The “snake” head is cute and colorful and the pieces of the body are too. The body pieces have good magnets on each end and little wheels underneath. The head has light up eyes and plays music (which can be turned off!). I put it next to a soup can to give better size perspective. The head is rechargeable with USB-C and the transmitter uses AA batteries (not included). When testing it, I had no idea how much fun it would be and how addictive. There are plenty of body parts. I kept thinking “just one more capture” until my wife forced me to quit. It is for my grandson’s birthday and I believe as his coordination improves over the next few years, he will keep enjoying it. It was better quality and sturdy material than I thought so I feel it is a good value. My one negative is that it is not as precise as I would like. By that I mean that it turns too much one way or the other so it is hard to line up. When moving and you push right or left it is more precise though so the answer is don’t have it still while turning left or right.
Mimiblooms’ QC-2020Y is a remote-control magnetic snake game in Yellow that collects magnetic blocks to extend its body during play. The controller provides directional buttons, and the toy integrates light and sound effects. The manufacturer suggests optional activity ideas such as color sorting, numbered-block challenges, and homemade mazes; these are presented as play concepts rather than validated learning outcomes. Stated power figures indicate about 1.5 hours of charging and up to 80 minutes of runtime; these are manufacturer-advertised values and not independently measured here. The product page specifies an age guidance of 6+. Buyers selecting the Yellow option should note that the separate “Green and Yellow” variant is a different selection and the Yellow listing is not described as including two toys. Based on the features, prospective uses could include structured challenges that encourage planning and coordination during play, subject to the capabilities of the included magnetic block-collection mechanism and the remote’s directional control.
This is such a cool little toy! The magnets work well and this is a good quality child's toy. I appreciate that it is easy for small children to control and that it allows the magnets to collect easily to form the snake. This really is a fun toy and keeps the kids busy for quite a while. The battery life seems to be very good, as this has gotten a lot of use and the batteries are still going strong. This toy is a good value and sure to be a hit with the kiddos!
This magnetic snake game is such a fun and unique toy! 🐍 The remote-controlled snake is definitely what makes it stand out from the usual kids’ games. The movement, lights, and sounds make it really entertaining, and the interactive design keeps kids engaged instead of just sitting there playing a basic game.I really like that it can be played with two people, because it makes it much more fun for siblings, friends, or parents and kids to play together. It’s one of those games that actually gets everyone involved and laughing. 😂The controls are easy enough to figure out, and the snake moving around trying to “eat” things adds a fun little challenge. It would be a great rainy-day activity, family game night toy, or birthday/Christmas gift.Overall, this is such a cool and entertaining game! The lights and sounds make it extra exciting, and I love that it encourages kids to actually interact and play together. Definitely recommend! 🐍🎮
