This item was well worth the money and the kids were thrilled with their projects.

The templates are colorful and sturdy making it an instant attraction. There are directions included but honestly, we didn't need them as it's pretty self explanatory.

I purchased magnets to glue on the back and now their bead art is on the refrigerator for everyone to see.

So beside the fun they had crafting, I had zero mess to clean up and I'm happy to give this item 5 stars! Would make a great gift or rainy day activity.

Here's what we know about this bead art kit:

•Good build quality, on par with kits you would find at a big box store

•Includes 15 rubber projects that are all usual subjects for kids-- anthropomorphic food, stars, rainbows, etc.

•Each project has a little area where you can install a ring for a keychain

•Everything is vibrantly colored

•Includes the pens, which you load the little beads into-- TRY TO DO THIS OVER A PAPER PLATE OR WITH A FUNNEL, they WILL fall and go everywhere

•Kit has easy to follow instructions-- but you don't really need them because it is intuitive

•The beads stay in the little projects pretty well, if you don't bend them and jostle them too much

•Each project takes about 15 minutes and is pretty fun for kids

Overall, this mosaic kit is a good one if you have a kiddo who likes to craft! It isn't messy in the sense of paint or goo... and is relatively quick and easy to complete. At the time of ordering this kit was a little less than $20-- and because of everything listed above, I think that it is a good value for the money. It would make a great gift for a classmate.
